Right now its just my Fiance and me at Pop Century for 6 nights in march 4-10th. We are paying about $108 with tax and AAA per day. We love Pop Century. But I am thinking maybe we want something nicer at a non-disney price.

Thinking about a 1 bedroom condo/suite with full kitchen (would save us money!). We definately want something as close to Disney as possible.

Is it possible to find something at this price around disney? That be great if someone can give some input.

Thanks!

Hi!

Windsorhills is a brand new resort very close to the disney parks. Check out the resort website www.windsorhillsrent.com for pictures. The condos are 2 and 3 bedroom units with full kitchens. We recently puchased a 2 bedroom/ 2bath condo here. If you would like more information please email or pm me. Most people are pleasantly suprised at how affordable staying in a condo offsite is.

Vacation Rentals by Owner is my favorite place to look for individually owned vacation homes/condos. Just go to www.vrbo.com

If you go with a condo you'll have to rent a car and pay for parking at WDW. You'll certainly get more for your $$$ but you'll be paying more than POP.

Hi, just a quick reminder to Patti that the purpose of these boards in not to advertise a property but to exchange information.

In our experience there are 3 levels of condos...

super fancy, very upscale with lots of tile, some marble, whirlpool tubs, big screen TVs...these are usually time shares and can be rented by the day. (see skyauction comment below)

newer condos like Emerald Island, Windsor Palms, Windsor Hills that are very nice, have very nice pools and are new and shiney...usually about 90-110/night

condos that are little older and pretty basic but very nice. Villas at Sommerset, Laguna Bay or Villas at Island Club, Mango Bay in Lindfields area...usually $59-89/night

At www.vrbo.com in the Kissimmee area you can search in each of these developments looking for condos...EI, WP and WI also have homes. The others are all Condos.
March 4-10 should miss most of spring break.

One other very good option for you is www.skyauction.com since you are going from Sat to Fri...Skyauction if for real and if you don't mind a little time on the internet and following their directions you can get one of the time share condos for a great price...usually around $250 to $300/WEEK...

There are lots of skyauction posts in the "search" area to help you...

Good luck...Ted

Try www.orlando-rental-home.com its a 3 bed condo on EI (don't think they do 1 and 2 beds) I can recommend it as I have stayed there myself, its just a few minutes from AK at Disney and the owners are real nice. I got a deal the last time I stayed at $80 per night.

Try hotelkingdom.com for good prices at Cypress Pointe (and others).

I always use Skyauction. Silver Lake Resort is often available and a very short, easy drive to the parks.

I like using http://www.vamoos.com I clicked on Kissimmee, then on 3 bedroom condo or town home and got 469 hits. A lot of pages.

I like vamoos because it's a pretty much all inclusive site.

OOPS! Just tried the link and it says the owner's are selling the domain name. Guess the site is no longer an option. :confused3
