My gf is going next week, along with her inlaws. The inlaws will babysit on Friday and give her and her dh a date night :thumbsup2So what do you suggest? She said Jellyrolls dueling piano is up her alley. I thought the Food and Wine and the Eat to the Beat concert sounded fun for them. What else?

i assume you mean that the inlaws will be babysitting, while she and DH go out alone...
in that scenario, pretty much anything works...
the key is the alone time...

a grown up adults only dinner is also nice....(assuming the above scenario)...
for me the spot would be dinner at citricos...

but really, anything works for me....just walking around any of the parks without anyone else in tow is nice...

yes thats what I mean, corrected the post. I am at work, is middle of the night, fielding calls :( so I get short and to the point and confuse you all LOL

They do not get out alone much so this is huge for them, you know, busy lives ;) Since they are on vacation, this is a second YAY factor. I am sure they will have fun whether they sit on a bench and people watch or have a great meal somewhere. I am just digging for something that is really cool for them to do, just options is all. Thanks !

When we get a night out we like to eat at either Yachtmans Steakhouse or Shulas, finish in time to stroll over to Epcot for Illuminations, then head to Jellyrolls.

Another night out we have enjoyed is dining at CA Grill while the sun sets, then visit the monorail resort lounges, and returning to CA Grill to watch the fireworks.

I agree. Hit Food and Wine - take your time - and then take a leisurely stroll along the Boardwalk (or take the long way in front of BC/YC) and make your way to Jellyrolls. It's a great, fun, adult thing to do and it's lots of fun. Just make sure you tell them about the $10 cover-charge per person!

I think a leisurely stroll around Epcot for F&W would be really nice, followed by a dinner at one of the Boardwalk area restaurants, then going back to Epcot for IllumiNations. :)
