What is a China/White Tablecloth/5 Star kinda place

Have a friend that wants to do a Table Service meal (Dining Plan) that is elegant, "china/white tablecloth/5 star". Any suggestions? They are steak and potato people. Leaving child with sitter.

I agree .. Yachtsman Steakhouse would be an excellent choice.

Le Cellier has excellent steak, also Bistro de France has a lot of meat entrees. Finally, artist point at Wilderness

I would choose AP over Yachtsman also. I definitely wouldn't consider the meal we had at YSH a 5*. Maybe, we just hit them on an off night though.

After 3 meals at YSH in the past year and a half, that was the first thing that popped into my mind, even before reading the previous replies.

I wouldnt call it 5 star and I am not sure about the upcoming menu changes but the prime rib at the dinner in Cindy's Castle was excellent when I went. Not to mention it is definately magical to see wishes from inside the castle

Interesting thought. We had a good, albeit expensive, meal at Shula's. Service was great, atmosphere was dary and masculine. I'd go there again, if only due to the souffle!

We recently had a table service meal at California Grill.

We ate in what they call the Wine room.

It is smaller and quieter than the rest of the restaurant.

Yes, china, silverwear, while linens.

There was four tables that night with 2 waiters.

Service was A+ and food was A.

Anne I agree with Shula's being dark and masculine but the steaks are very good and yes, quite expensive. I am a fan of YSH, I had my wedding reception there.

I'd have to go with Citricos as one of the best at WDW. If you really want steak then maybe the YSH.
