What in the hell just happened? But I'm glad it did...

Last summer, I did what I have wanted to do for YEARS. I bought a DVC 70 pt at OKW. THEN, I figured, what the heck, get one more 70 pointer. The prices were decent, and after all, I spent the same amount over the last 6 years at the same place. Why not? Right? OH NO, I just saw a AKV for $100 a point! I CANNOT pass that up, especially since the direct price is $186. My brain told me I was getting a deal! What's this blue/white card debate? Huh, I don't get one? NO BLUE CARD? Darn, now I gotta buy 100 OKW direct to get a blue card and to be able to book Riviera. Hum... Just realized I never stayed deluxe before and now have 4 contracts. Test run: March split stay at VGF (1 bedroom), BLT (studio), and RIVERIA (studio) (3 days each) WOW. LOVED IT! All on my OKW points. Fast Forward only 6 weeks: realized that I'm getting married next year: yeah! 12 day stay! Opps, now my daughter is engaged and getting married two months after me! Ok- she can have what points I can borrow after my honeymoon. HUM: nothing gonna be left. WHAT??? My son is now engaged for the following year. OH HELL! I just saw a BLT 100 pt! It did not take long to get sucked in. I worked 4 jobs-for this. Teacher of the OMG SIXTH GRADE CHILD for 32 years/ Coach/Assitant Coach, ONLINE Tutor. I figured with 3 honeymoons and TWO more kids coming behind, perhaps my whims will be appreciated. Moral of the story? There is none. I'm just happy as a lark. No mid-life crisis for me! I'm just going to Disney. (The posts on this board gave me the information I needed to make selective choices without significant overage. I thank you all.)

Lol! I hear you we decided we needed more points because the kids are older and we want to stay in two bedrooms. So we bought 3 resale contracts and a direct RIV to go with our 735 points we already had so I definitely understand your story . We are going to make wonderful memories at Disney!!
