Hi all! It looks like I'll be heading to a conference in Orlando in late January (Monday-Wednesday) so I've talked DH into letting my fly in on Saturday and having a solo weekend in the World. :yay: I am so excited about getting a chance to wander through the parks slowly, negotiate pathways without a stroller in front of me, and just enjoy my favorite place in the world. I've only been to Disney twice - this past November and earlier this month, but I literally could have turned around and flown back to Orlando the day after we got home. I'm much more Disney-obsessed than DH or even my kids (they laugh and say I'm a little crazy about the Mouse). So a few ideas I wanted to throw out there and get some comments:

- I'm going to stay at ASMu to save money (we've stayed at the Poly and Dolphin in the past). I'm fine with the Value route, so I chose ASMu because I've read on the Dis that it's the most compact and greenest - true?

- I think I'm going to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour on Sunday. I am so excited to hear about the backstage info and see the utilidors, the lunch at CHH will be great (I love that hummus sandwich!) and I want that KTTK pin! Do I definitely need to sign up for KTTK well in advance or can I want to see what the weather will be like that week?

- Believe it or not, because my kids (5 and 8) are not the most patient in the world and since they've always wanted to hit attractions, I have never been inside a single World Showcase pavilion!!! I've been told I should definitely sit and drink a nice glass of wine and eat a peach tart in France. Any other golden opportunities I'm missing?

- The one thing I'm looking forward to is walking, no, strolling down Main Street and reading all of the Windows. I'm so used to running at Rope Drop towards BTMRR that I just want to have a chance to relax and soak all of Walt and Roy's genius in. I feel bad that I'm so looking forward to time that doesn't involve my boys (sons and DH) but I think they realize that I love WDW so much more than they do. I'm so lucky that they are happy to let me do this. Sooo excited!

Again, any and all suggestions are appreciated!:goodvibes

We are also going without kids and without a stroller!!!
