If you want to go just for a meal, do you have to use one of your ticket days? I'm sure it doesn't count at a hotel, but say if we want to just go into the park to go to dinner, that would require an admission purchase, right?

Sorry if this is the dumbest question EVER!

You will have to use an admission day to get into the park--even if it's just to eat. (That's why I always carefully plan meals to coincide with the park we're at for that day.)
And don't worry--your question wasn't dumb at all! :sunny:

You are correct--if you want to eat in the park, you have to pay admission. Don't worry though, there are lots of great places to eat in the hotels, on the Boardwalk, and at Downtown Disney if you are looking for a meal on a non-aprk day.
