What if you cannot get booked at Table Service?

I am just planning my trip for March and while I know it is last minute, I have a question about dining. What if I get the dining plan with Table service and end up not getting into any of the restaurants that I want? Do you get a refund if you cannot get ressies?

You may want to call now and see if you can get the ADRs you want and then add the DP, if you can't get the table service you want you may want to consider the new QSDP. Good Luck

They do not refund if you have unused credits.

I would think if you haven't made the final payment yet you could take the dining off if you don't get any ressies.

I have a bunch I am going to cancel for the 17th-24th that I posted in the canceled ressies in March thread. If that helps you let me know!

There are some places that do not take reservations such as:

-all Star cafe (pub type food located at Wide World of Sports
-espn bar
-beaches n' cream

Plus I know there are some that are on the ddp, but disney does not handle the reservations. They'd need to be made with the restaurant themselves. I know big river brew at Boardwalk is one.

Or you can call when you are down there to see about cancellations. We've gotten into many restaurants just by calling that day from down there when our plans changed.

Also, generally the restaurants at the Moderate resorts would be likely (or more likely) to have tables available at relatively the last minute.

It is ALWAYS best to plan ahead, but if you don't, you just need to be flexible with both locations and times.

The sit down at ASC has been gone for months. It was renovated and is now counter service.

Without ADRs you will be able to eat sit down somewhere at some time. It might not be your first choice in place or time though.

You could even do room service, although it would be two credits I believe.

Nobody answered the OP's last question: No, you do NOT get refunded if you do not use dining credits, for any reason.

Are you staying at Saratoga Springs? It is usually possible to get seated at Turf Club; also, you could go to Olivia's at Old Key West; and you are perfectly situated to take the Sassagoula Ferry in the other direction, to Downtown Disney. You WILL be able to find places to eat. Just remember, flexibility.

there are so many TS rest. that you may not get the first choice, but there are plenty of others to choose from, make a list of your top choices and then a list of alternates if they are not available. and call now, you would be surprised what you can get.

I'd do like another poster suggested, and get your ADRs first. Then you can decide if the TS dining plan will work for you based on what you're able to get. You can call for ADRs before you even schedule your trip since you're within the 90 days. That's what I did, and I'm happy to say I will be on the dining plan!

Try to get reservations first, apparently you can add the plan up to 72 hours before your arrival. We just booked our trip in March 2 weeks ago and I can tell you I could not get an early time at CM or Ohana for any of the nights we are there.
