What if incentives change?

If you commit to buy today, and incentives change for the good on August 20, when the current incentives are believed to end, can you take advantage of the new incentives if you haven't yet closed?

Anytime before your contract closes, you can ask to have it rewritten with the new incentives.

I added on in March and was able to change my deal when better incentives came out April 1st.

When I added on again in June, I planned it a week before the incentive change. They were worse for BLT so I kept what I had.

At the time, it took about a month from signing to close, but I have heard it is taking less time than that now. Once the contract closes, no changes can be made.

Does the re-writing process cost any extra if you want to utilize new incentives during closing?

While I think DVC will re-write the contract anytime before closing, I doubt that they are obligated to do so.
I think if the contract is signed, returned, and the right of cancellation date has past, than legally the contract can close as is.

MG has a good point. I would arrange it so that I purchased a few days before the new incentives were due to be announced, that my rescind period covered both windows.
