What if I have to cancel an ADR?

I made a 8:05 ADR for Tusker House and a 5:00 dinner reservation at 1900 Park Fare---what if we are not feeling like doing 2 TS that day...can we cancel it that day with no penalties? I want to do both, but I do have 3 kids so who knows what our day will be like?
Also---we had to give our credit card # to hold our Akershus breakfast reservation? Is that normal? We were going to use a TS credit, so I am assuming they will not charge our card???

You can cancel Tusker House or Park Fare without penalty.

Akershus, however, is different. They require a credit card to hold the reservation. If you don't cancel that reservation within the cancellation period and don't show up for it, you will be charged a per person no-show fee.
