What if anything do you collect?

I used to collect bar glasses (with bar name on them)

I've been into collecting perfumes (don't have a ton though) and nail polish (have a ton) lately.

I collect horse statues! My DH calls my collection a tribute to Mr Ed.:lmao:
He also says I collect kittens/cats...the real live 4 legged ones!! :rotfl2:

trolls. i don't want to mention how many i have. i also pick up the ones at epcot. those are my fav's though.

i like frogs too. i did our guest bathroom with all of my frog stuff. our backyard has frog stuff too. hubby thinks they multiply in the dark :rotfl: there's still some in my mom's yard waiting for me. :rolleyes1

also a ton of scrapbook stuff, jewelry stuff and crafty stuff.

my hubby collects paper. i could fill the recycling bin with just his receipts from things!

Blue glass. Several years ago I refined that down to blue glass shot glasses from places we visit, and YES I have a Disney one. It's a Disney villians one. :goodvibes

Do children count? :rolleyes1

No? Well, then......uh...... I used to collect elephants. My grandfather was big in the state Republican party and had a huge collection of them, when he died I got them. The thing is, though, that when you collect something people treat it like a reason to put no thought into your gifts. It was like "Oh, she collects elephants. We'll get her that one at the gas station and call it done."

I can't really think of anything I actively collect now, but through the years I've had - erm - an obssession with such things as shoes, purses, perfume, makeup. I guess you could say I collect hair conditioners now. I have 8 bottles for some reason.

Hey, my daughter appears to collect conditioners too, of the leave-in variety. She must have five different ones laying around here. She's got natural curl that wants to go to poof if you don't weight it down.

My best friend collects spoons (the collector type, not the cutlery type) and those are getting hard to find these days! The last vacation we took together, we never did find one for her.

Do dust bunnies count?:rotfl::rotfl2:

:rotfl: right there with you...

I collect handmade teapots (but don't drink tea); I've got almost every piece of Liberty Falls, an older, smaller house figurine line (think Dept. 56 but about 1/4 the size); and apparently I also collect things that ought to go in a garage sale, because I keep finding them around the house but I'm pretty sure I haven't scheduled the garage sale yet.

I collect cartoon glasses and snow globes.

I've also got a small collection of Star Wars items and porcelain dolls.

I don't do it on purpose, so does it still count.

I am pretty much anti stuff, would like to get rid of almost everything in my house most of the time, so do not collect anything that sits around, other than, perhaps, books.

I do have about 60 wrist watches though. The louder the better. Pilsbury dough boy, Sponge Bob, Disney, technicolor, ones I can get out of cereal boxes :), I wear a different one every day.

I have a professional set of tools to get the backs off to replace batteries and order my batteries on line in bulk!!!!

Words, any time I hear a word I don't know or if it's used unusually I look it up then add it to my collection. It's not very useful and it's bore to most people, even worse it's not something I can display but it's my collection and I love it:lovestruc

I also have a collection of a flower from every single bouquet my husband has ever given me in 20 years, and artwork from every year my kids were in school, again these are only valuable to me but I love them just the same as if they were worth a million dollars.

Guess if I ever have to pawn stuff I'm out of luck, huh?

That's really sweet about the flowers. :flower3: I have a children's art collection as well. I try to get some of it into scrapbooks regularly, but my main display area is the fridge, which my husband was just giving me a hard time about today because he couldn't find the buttons for the ice dispenser under all the fine art. :rotfl:

I have quite a few angels. I also decorate with snowmen in the winter, they are so cute!
