there's still some in my mom's yard waiting for me.

Do children count?
No? Well, then......uh...... I used to collect elephants. My grandfather was big in the state Republican party and had a huge collection of them, when he died I got them. The thing is, though, that when you collect something people treat it like a reason to put no thought into your gifts. It was like "Oh, she collects elephants. We'll get her that one at the gas station and call it done."
I can't really think of anything I actively collect now, but through the years I've had - erm - an obssession with such things as shoes, purses, perfume, makeup. I guess you could say I collect hair conditioners now. I have 8 bottles for some reason.

right there with you...Do dust bunnies count?![]()
, I wear a different one every day.
I also have a collection of a flower from every single bouquet my husband has ever given me in 20 years, and artwork from every year my kids were in school, again these are only valuable to me but I love them just the same as if they were worth a million dollars.
Guess if I ever have to pawn stuff I'm out of luck, huh?
I have a children's art collection as well. I try to get some of it into scrapbooks regularly, but my main display area is the fridge, which my husband was just giving me a hard time about today because he couldn't find the buttons for the ice dispenser under all the fine art.
