So, I think now I am going to need some help planning. I don't want to go on this trip without a plan of attack. So far, this is what I have:

Sunday, June 21st:
Arrive at LAX at 4:10 PM
Disneyland Express will take us to the GC
Check In and Get tickets
Visit DL California Adventure for the time we have left Sunday Night
Electrical Parade 8:45PM, park closes at 10PM

Monday, June 22nd
Breakfast in courtyard of Sleeping Beauty's Castle
Spend the morning at Disneyland
Take and afternoon break; let kids go swimming
Return to Disneyland for the rest of the evening (hit California Adventure again if there's time, they are only open until 9PM this day.
DL open until 12 AM

Tuesday, June 23rd
Leave LAX at 8:30 AM, arrive in Orlando at 6:30 PM
Magical Express will take us to the Yacht Club
Go to Ballroom, get Welcome Packets
I'm assuming we won't get there, or settled in until about 8pmish
Do I plan something for this evening, or just hang out and go swimming, etc?

Wednesday, June 24th
Spend Morning at Magic Kingdom, Hours 9AM-12AM
Afternoon swim/relax
Spend the rest of the evening at Magic Kingdom
Spectromagic 9PM or 11PM

Thursday, June 25th
I was thinking maybe Hollywood Studios (Hours 9AM-9PM) in the morning and then Epcot later in the day?
Dinner at Epcot and Illuminations (9PM)
Epcot EMH 9PM-12AM

Friday, June 26th
Need to check out
Maybe go to Animal Kingdom (Opens at 9AM), and then spend a few hours at either Magic Kingdom or DTD in the afternoon?
Fly out of Orlando, 7:40 PM

This is what I am thinking, though I am not sure. Do you think this would work? Let me know your ideas!! Obviously this will not be set in stone in case they have other things planned for us that we don't know about. I just want some sort of plan

I took a trip to the mall this morning :headache: I HATE the mall!

Anyway, finally picked myself up a wall charger, so at least I will be able to charge my phone while we are gone!

Of course while I was there I had to visit the Disney store. Got myself a new Tink coffee mug, and got the DDs a couple of tanks for the trip, only $4.99 each! :woohoo:

Have to finish making my planning list later today, start some packing, and keep pondering on my itinerary :thumbsup2

Your plans look pretty good. I would have to say that on WDW arrival day, you should definately just stay at the hotel. After a full day of travel and having a packed day on Wednesday, you're gonna want your rest. The girls will too. :goodvibes I hope everything works out for you. You're gonna have a great time!

Thanks! :thumbsup2 I'm getting really excited! I will probably most likely stick to this plan. Obviously it won't be set in stone, but I don't want to land there, and say "now what?!" :rotfl:

Alright, I finally made packing lists! :thumbsup2

I have a list for:
  • List for DFi
  • List for DD 11
  • List for DD6
  • List for My Suitcase
  • List for my carry-on
  • List for my Park Bag

I don't know why I have so many lists, and why mine are so much longer than everyone else's! :rotfl: I guess because I'm the mom!

I want to start packing both DD's today, and part of my carry-on I think. We have a busy week this week, end of school, kids have sports every evening but Friday, so I'm hoping it will go by fast. But that also doesn't leave me much time to get things done during the weke  I figure the more I get done today, the less stressed I will be the end of next week.

How exciting! Your California plan looks good. I agree, don't plan anything for your evening arrival at WDW. Who knows if you arrive right on time, etc.

It's so fun to read about your excitement! I hope you don't mind coming back and telling us all about it later.

Don't worry, I will be happy to do a TR once we are back! :thumbsup2

And I am an obsessive picture taker, so I'm sure I will have more than enough picture to share! :rotfl2:

Only 5 days left!!!!

I can't beleive it! I started taking out my clothes yesterday. I'm so afraid if I start packing now, I'll have nothing, left to do on Friday and Saturday and I'll be sitting there waiting for the time to slowly pass by to Sunday!

This is getting so exciting!!! I can't wait!!!

Congrats on winning this amazing trip! When I was 10 years old, my family won a trip to WDW off a 2-liter bottle of Coke!!! We stayed at the Contemporary and it included all of our meals (via food vouchers) and a rental car. It was so awesome!

I've never been to DL, but my little sis and mom just went in April. They really liked it. It's smaller than WDW, but it's the original! My sister's pics were amazing! A lot of the queues are outside, so that's totally different than WDW! I just know that you and your family are going to have a fabulous trip! My family and I will be at WDW from June 24th-28th, so some of our days overlap!

Thanks! We are pretty excited! I know my 11 year old will be old enough to remember it, I'm hoping my 6 year old will be too! ;)

That's so cool you guys won a trip off of a Coke bottle years ago! I hope you have a great trip next week also! :thumbsup2

I haven't done much the past couple days...well except for packing a bit. The girls have been keeping me busy with their sports...which is good...makes the week go by fast :thumbsup2

We are still waiting on our Disneyland Express vouchers. Hoping they come soon, we are leaving in 4 days!!!

DFi is starting to get on my nerves! :rotfl2: He is terrified to fly. He is 37 and never been on a plane before. He is convinced that this trip is where he is going to meet his maker...and I mean convinced  He overslept for work yesterday...and then told me it was all my fault. When I asked why, he said he was staying up so late at night since he knew he only has a few days left before he gets on the plane...and he wants to enjoy his last few days as much as possible! :confused3 Oh my gosh! Are you kidding me?!? I don't know what to do with him!

Other than that, just waiting for this week to end!! DD6 has a play at school tonight, and softball tomorrow night. After those 2 things are done, it will be Friday and time to finish up the packing! I can't wait! This is so exciting!! :wizard:

4 MORE DAYS!!!

Poor guy, he seems really worried. Too bad his 'first' has to be a cross country flight, though I don't know if that part even worries him. I know with a fear like that, saftey statistics don't help..even though he's WAY safer on the plane than his bike. Just try and be patient with him...and maybe see about getting him some valium to calm him before the trip.

Thanks! Yah, I do feel bad for him. And I have told him over and over how much safer it is to fly, then to be in the car or his bike. BUT, he doesn't care...he can control his bike and his car...but not the plane. And I think that's where the real issue lies. He just has to sit back and trust someone else to get him there safely. I think once we are up and going and he has DD6 to keep him occupied, it will be ok. I am hoping so anyway. Plus, he doesn't want to take anything...he wants to be fully awake and rearing to go if something does happen. I'm going to keep some benadryl in my carry-on just in case he does want to relax for awhile :thumbsup2

:rotfl: My boyfriend calls roller coasters "death machines." I understand.

My Nana is terrified of flying. My Mom took her out to Vegas once. Gave her two Bloody Marys before they took off and she was out for the duration of the flight :thumbsup2 (Though I'm guessing my Nana is tinier than your Fiance!)

LOL yes! My fiance is 6'3" 300 lbs. It takes a lot to knock him out! :rotfl2:

Saw the UPS man today...Now we have our vouchers for Disneyland express! Yay! That was the last thing we were waiting for! :thumbsup2

Now just to get all packed up and count down the days!

He should call his doctor and get something like Xanax prescribed. It doesn't knock you out, just takes the edge off. Believe me, I couldn't fly without it.
