So, I think now I am going to need some help planning. I don't want to go on this trip without a plan of attack. So far, this is what I have:
Sunday, June 21st:
Arrive at LAX at 4:10 PM
Disneyland Express will take us to the GC
Check In and Get tickets
Visit DL California Adventure for the time we have left Sunday Night
Electrical Parade 8:45PM, park closes at 10PM
Monday, June 22nd
Breakfast in courtyard of Sleeping Beauty's Castle
Spend the morning at Disneyland
Take and afternoon break; let kids go swimming
Return to Disneyland for the rest of the evening (hit California Adventure again if there's time, they are only open until 9PM this day.
DL open until 12 AM
Tuesday, June 23rd
Leave LAX at 8:30 AM, arrive in Orlando at 6:30 PM
Magical Express will take us to the Yacht Club
Go to Ballroom, get Welcome Packets
I'm assuming we won't get there, or settled in until about 8pmish
Do I plan something for this evening, or just hang out and go swimming, etc?
Wednesday, June 24th
Spend Morning at Magic Kingdom, Hours 9AM-12AM
Afternoon swim/relax
Spend the rest of the evening at Magic Kingdom
Spectromagic 9PM or 11PM
Thursday, June 25th
I was thinking maybe Hollywood Studios (Hours 9AM-9PM) in the morning and then Epcot later in the day?
Dinner at Epcot and Illuminations (9PM)
Epcot EMH 9PM-12AM
Friday, June 26th
Need to check out
Maybe go to Animal Kingdom (Opens at 9AM), and then spend a few hours at either Magic Kingdom or DTD in the afternoon?
Fly out of Orlando, 7:40 PM
This is what I am thinking, though I am not sure. Do you think this would work? Let me know your ideas!!Obviously this will not be set in stone in case they have other things planned for us that we don't know about. I just want some sort of plan
Your plans look pretty good. I would have to say that on WDW arrival day, you should definately just stay at the hotel. After a full day of travel and having a packed day on Wednesday, you're gonna want your rest. The girls will too.I hope everything works out for you. You're gonna have a great time!
How exciting! Your California plan looks good. I agree, don't plan anything for your evening arrival at WDW. Who knows if you arrive right on time, etc.
It's so fun to read about your excitement! I hope you don't mind coming back and telling us all about it later.
Congrats on winning this amazing trip! When I was 10 years old, my family won a trip to WDW off a 2-liter bottle of Coke!!! We stayed at the Contemporary and it included all of our meals (via food vouchers) and a rental car. It was so awesome!
I've never been to DL, but my little sis and mom just went in April. They really liked it. It's smaller than WDW, but it's the original! My sister's pics were amazing! A lot of the queues are outside, so that's totally different than WDW! I just know that you and your family are going to have a fabulous trip! My family and I will be at WDW from June 24th-28th, so some of our days overlap!
I haven't done much the past couple days...well except for packing a bit. The girls have been keeping me busy with their sports...which is good...makes the week go by fast
We are still waiting on our Disneyland Express vouchers. Hoping they come soon, we are leaving in 4 days!!!
DFi is starting to get on my nerves! He is terrified to fly. He is 37 and never been on a plane before. He is convinced that this trip is where he is going to meet his maker...and I mean convinced
He overslept for work yesterday...and then told me it was all my fault. When I asked why, he said he was staying up so late at night since he knew he only has a few days left before he gets on the plane...and he wants to enjoy his last few days as much as possible!
Oh my gosh! Are you kidding me?!? I don't know what to do with him!
Other than that, just waiting for this week to end!! DD6 has a play at school tonight, and softball tomorrow night. After those 2 things are done, it will be Friday and time to finish up the packing! I can't wait! This is so exciting!!
4 MORE DAYS!!!
Poor guy, he seems really worried. Too bad his 'first' has to be a cross country flight, though I don't know if that part even worries him. I know with a fear like that, saftey statistics don't help..even though he's WAY safer on the plane than his bike. Just try and be patient with him...and maybe see about getting him some valium to calm him before the trip.

My boyfriend calls roller coasters "death machines." I understand.
My Nana is terrified of flying. My Mom took her out to Vegas once. Gave her two Bloody Marys before they took off and she was out for the duration of the flight(Though I'm guessing my Nana is tinier than your Fiance!)
