Maybe if you used proper grammar and capitalization I could take your opinion seriously.
However, I honestly cannot.
I C/P'ed from a music site

seriously, why do people hate country music?
I doubt any of you actually listened to any country music at all.
Exactly.I agree! Usually people that don't listen to country music only hear like one song that is one of those hillbilly twang stuff.
As for Taylor.. she's more of a performer, than a singer.
Exactly.
*points to Kelsi's sig*
That is a country song. It's one of my favorites. I don't see why people would hate on lyrics like that![]()
why can't you kids listen to The Black Keys?
Because it's not in your Top 14 Bands list.why can't you kids listen to The Black Keys?
why can't you kids listen to The Black Keys?
To be fair, I'll sometimes say things like "Kids these days" and I'm 15. xDWonder how old this poster is if they are calling us "kids".
Thanks for letting us know your thoughts.
Yes, Taylor may not be the best live singer. Neither are a lot of people these days.
Her lyrics are a little on the immature side. But, hey, she's twenty years old. She wrote all of Fearless when she was younger than eighteen. Self-centered, I disagree. She writes about what she knows, and that's teen love. I highly doubt that every single one of her songs are written specifically about her. I believe that she said "You Belong With Me" was about a friend and his girlfriend, actually.
Lack of depth? Listen to "Breathe," "Cold As You," "Fifteen," "You're Not Sorry," and "Change." "Fifteen" was a single, so you may have heard it. When you listen to it, remember your Freshman year, being lost, and thinking like you have the world figured out. After all, I didn't know it at fifteen.
That's just my opinion though.
Fifteen could fit almost anyone's high school years. For me, it was my sophomore year.Fifteen made me cry. Taylor knows best on that one. It reminded me so much of myself not at 15 but at 16.
