Not had the best of days...started badly when my 2 year old woke up at 6 something and I took her downstairs for some wheatabix, then brought her back up to "mummy and daddys" bed.....only for her to be sick over pretty much everwhere and everyone.

However During the emergency 7AM bath to get the sick out of her hair etc, her disposable nappy somehow got thrown in with all the laundry, and it was not spotted when being loaded (no real desire to go sifting through sicky sheets beforehand)......and what I learnt, is that a disposable nappy in the washing machine is an absolute disaster !
We have white bits everywhere, clothes are ruined because of them....gawd knows what they will have done to the filters etc in the machine...I just dread to think.

Sigh....what a day.

oh dear ! i hope your dd is better now and that the washing machine doesn't get sick :guilty:

Hope today is much better than yesterday and that your DD is feeling much better.

Oh Tron

What a day, I do hope your DD is much better today and that your washing machine is fine :goodvibes

What a bad start. At least you didnt have to pay out for Car servicing and repairs today. ;)

Hope DD has recovered and you have found suitable replacement clothing :)

Our car cost us £180 yesterday!
Typical huh?!

Hope your DD has recovered along with your washing machine. What a nightmare.

Oooops. Hope all is well now.

Was it a 'gel' one?
Now they are pretty impressive when washed too..... :rotfl2:

Rob knew fine well I had to cough up for my car service, which he thought very strange I had booked in for the 23rd.

It was better than expected though, at £155. I was expecting to pay another £50+ for a new cigarrete lighter socket which I broke, but they said they would do it under warranty, which was nice of them, and surprised the heck out of me.

Im not sure, it was a huggies one I think....it split into a million sort of white crystal type peices that kind of coated the inside of the washing machine, and all the clothing that was in there. I had to shake off all the bits that I could, and the kitchen floor was like snow had landed.

Im just so glad she hadnt done a "number 2" in it beforehand though.

Yep, sounds like a gel one to me ;)
Glad she'd only had a wee................ :rotfl:
Have a fantastic Christmas and NewYear - ps, the table light I wired up - with your help - is still fantasic :goodvibes
