If your DS14 announces that he sees a wilting plant in the front yard and is going out to water it right away, it's not because he's taken a sudden interest in gardening. It's because he's sees a girl on the neighbor's driveway across the street that he wants to casually run into. Watering a plant is just a good reason to be outside when she happens to glance across the street. Learn something new everyday. ::yes::

Hmm, maybe you could take advantage of this...Oh DS, the car needs a wash...DS, I think the walk needs cleaning...

You might mention that cutting grass puts you outside longer and makes noise to draw attention.:rotfl2:

Awwwww! One of those moments you really want to laugh a little but have to play it cool, huh?

I remember taking my 15 year old nephew bowling one night, and he was playing amazingly. Then a group of teenage girls walked up to the lane next to ours, and all of a sudden it was gutter ball...gutter ball..gutter ball.

Too cute, I remember those days.

I was the bait for my sister. We spent a few weeks one summer in Fla with my DGP's and went to the beach and saw really cute guys. I was only 11 and she was 15, but Im the one that had to swim underwater to accidentally bump into them. :rolleyes1

He is obviously very advanced. I am going to go out on a limb here and say he's a straight A student. This shows very wise advancement for his years, knowing how to be subtle with the opposite sex, very wise. You must be very proud. Normally that's something most men don't learn until they are much older, and some never learn it.

Aw, sweet first crush stuff. How fun (and, YES, get a car wash or mown lawn out of it for sure!)

And if he gots hot and takes off his shirt, she can get a good look at him. He can flex a few muscles pushing that heavy lawnmower around. ;)

Yes, he is a very good student, but he's also an actor. He's at rehearsal right now working on his 12th show since 4th grade. He's got the cool act down!

Haha, being the parent of a 17 yr old son, I can relate!

We have a few female neighbors (late 20s/early 30s) in our court (townhouse development).
DS and his friends text each other when they're outside ("hottie alert" ds said one day :rotfl2:). I think the newest one doesn't realize ds is only 17 because she had a mad flirt going on with him when he was cooking on the grill, shirtless of course, a couple of weeks ago! :lmao: (She lives about 3 doors down).

What I learned today is that the early bird gets the worm. My 15 year old had tentative plans with boy A who is still asleep. Boy B swoops in early AM asking her on a lunch date.
Boy B wins.
