What I know About ME Tags so far

I know everyone is really wanting to know because of all of the questions I have got and the service is new.
This is what I know for fact.
I have four people booked, 2 adults 2 kids, departing May 27
I booked thru Disney
I, via mail, recieved four luggage tags in a nice thick plastic cover pamphlet that is big enough for many documents you will need to have handy such as plane tickets and hotel ressies. In this mailing was also vouchers for transportation at MCO and a hotel voucher.
My tags look like the castle, sort of, and say "walt disney travel co..inc" on the bottom and are about four inches long. They also came with the plastic "hook thing" that you attatch to your bag.
They also have included the little paper which you write your info on (name etc) and slide into the tag (basic bag tag).
When I booked, I requested three extra tags which I did not get
That's all I know! Hope to spread the knowledge!!

Those are not the DME tags; those are the WDTC tags that you got for booking thru Disney. Your DME stuff will arrive approximately 21 days before your departure.

I'm leaving in 13 days and haven't gotten mine yet. If I don't get them by Friday I'm calling CRO.

I just called last night, because we are leaving in 13 days and I haven't gotten mine yet either. They said that they have had a few delays with them and they should be express mailed to me within a few days.

I'm not worried about it. Worst case scenario, I have to pick up my checked bags myself. I'll still have a free ride to Disney, which is the big benefit as far as I'm concerned. Mears is what - $30 RT per person? - so I see the bus trip as a big money saver.

My DU Agent emailed me this AM to say she called Disney and they are behind in getting the tags out (sounds like May is going to be busy!). For those of us traveling within 21 days they are FedExing.

Someone posted a special number on another thread. If you have not received your DME tags at 10 days out call 1-866-599-0951 and they will express ship them to you.

and we should be flying in a week from tomorrow! Called the 1-866 # listed above and no one answered!!! Getting nervous and thinking I should make back up plans....

I'm arriving on May 8. My TA's office called yesterday to tell us our DME materials (including luggage tags) were received by them, and they are shipping them to us (we live 150 miles from the TA).
