Fort Wilderness Cabin
What I found out about the cabins, they are really great for families.
It was nice to make breakfast every morning before going to the parks.
The porch was a nice place to sit and rock in the rocking chairs while we waited for the rest of the family to get ready.
We were lucky and got to stay in cabin 118 which is really close to the marina.
We were told that the two cabins in 100 loops were VIP rooms.
We found that the buses were really great there; we didnt wait long at all for the buses.
I dont think you have to have a car or rent a golf cart to get around at the fort, I think the buses cover any place you would want to go.
The walk to the pool wasnt as far as I thought it would be, if you dont like walking you could just hop on a bus.
The campfire program was fun to do; we only had time to do it on the first night, this is a must do if you have children.
If I could do it over I would have stayed more days and looked more around the fort, as
we enjoyed just sitting on the beach and watching the ducks.
I think that most people at the fort Wilderness camp ground were really nice, and would help in any way they could, as far as telling you how to get around the fort.
The maid service was great; we came back to a tidy room, well stocked with towels.
The only thing I think they could add to the cabins to make it better would be add a washer and dryer, but thats about it.
