What hotels are located near AKL?

What hotels are located near AKL? We would like to find a place nearer to that side of WDW. How long would it take to get from
Days Inn Orlando Suites Maingate East. I have a suite for $53.99. I'd like to get in that same price range but closer to AKL or is the distance not really that great?

kissimmee is really close - I think Silver Lake and if I remember there is a Holiday Inn Maingate West - very close
Clarion Hotel Maingate - Super 8??? - Hampton Inn

you are not far - your mile number is 9 - there is between 4 and 5 - but you would (I believe) be better off using the main entrance (from where you are currently staying) - that the back way into AK.

Thanks, I'll look into the Holiday Inn and the Clarion. How close are these to AKL?
From where I'm at how long would it take to get to AKL or AK for EMH? Which is a better area for spending an afternoon and eve before we check in to AKL?

Im not sure about the distance but you should probally consider staying onsite if you want to take advantage if the EMH since its only offered to guest who stay on property.

The Clarion Maingate is about 3 1/2 minutes from AKL...you just take the back road right by the AKL drive and you can turn right into the Clarions back parking lot without ever getting onto 192. My in-laws stayed there last fall when we were at AKL and I could run over and pick them up, round trip was less than 10 minutes door to door. It was a fine place for the price (I paid $28/night on Priceline for the room). Rooms were very large and the one my inlaws were in had a frig and microwave.

you are just about 5 miles further - so not long - and you are closer to Old Town - which is pretty nice for an afternoon and evening visit -

they are moving to AKL the following morning.

I would really go with priceline - you might be surprise how good a deal you can get on priceline.
