What hotels are closest to the Grand Californian?

Thinking of trying to book something cheaper than Tropicana if possible...Think it would be fun to cut through the Grand Cal into DD and take the monorail into the park...so what hotels are closer to the GC?

The Anabella. Not sure if it is cheaper though.

Btw, if you go through GC you'd have to backtrack to get to the monorail, but you could do both: one day go through GC and walk to the DL entrance, then another day walk through or around Paradise Pier to the west end of DTD and catch the monorail by ESPNZone.

We stayed a few nights at Annabella. I think it was $80 or $85/night. Cheap! Booked with our AAA discount.

I think the closest to GH is Paradise Pier. It's right across the street. Not cheap though
