We are going to go and stay off site but put schedule is pretty changeable because we have young kids. Does anyone know what off site hotels have frequent shuttles to the parks? Thanks!

Most of the offsite hotels don't have very frequent bus schedules. Would one of the DTD resorts work? I have been able to get some great prices ($69/ night) at the Best Western and buses run every half hour.

Thank you! We can get to the parks ok but then could I get a bus from Epcot to downtown Disney?

We were very disappointed in the shuttle service from an offsite hotel the one time we stayed offsite, the very first time we ever stayed at WDW with our 3yo young son. We had booked a 2 night stay. We were staying with relatives in Florida, and had decided to make a two day side trip to WDW, the whole group of us, 4 adults and three children. We were informed when we arrived that shuttles needed to be "scheduled" 24 hours in advance. At this particular place, shuttles were very infrequent. So, we ended up driving, of course, and paying for parking. As I remember, we had only one vehicle, a van. After that experience, we decided to stay onsite, just for the reliable transportation alone. This particular hotel was about the same cost as the All-Stars at the time. I don't even remember the hotel. Decided it just wasn't worth the inconvenience for the cost involved. We made our next reservation at the All-Stars. Now, we have DVC. Sometimes we drive, and if we want to split up, we are free to take the buses and shuttles.

the buses at DD hotels are possible the best.

think Wyndham Bonnet Creek also has decent shuttles - but you pay for them on a daily basis.

reconsider if staying at an offsite hotel that doesn't show you the bus schedule before and it should include any notice of when you have to contact the bus.

plus some of these are just full when they arrive. these generally expect DDhotels and WBC - go once or twice in the morning to the parks and return in the evening - with little children would not suggest these

so either stay onsite or get a rental car - now if you are driving then take your own car - $14 (might be more) a day to park is generally worth it. this is for the day - so if you park hop - you don't have to pay it again.

if you are staying onsite - you don't pay to park.
