What height is Stitch?

My 13yo had her heart set on being friends with Pluto. She has practiced and practiced the autograph (and can do it amazingly well, even wearing her big Mickey gloves!). She had routines down and was ready to be the best friend of Pluto EVER.

Had an endocrinology appt last week and more than the fact that her bloodwork was off (whooopee, who cares, just tell me how tall I am), the doc told her she was probably done at 5'1.5". She is CRUSHED. This child never cries and she was on the verge.

We Googled some, but couldn't find the height for Stitch or Lilo. Anyone know so I can possibly give her some hope??? She's NOT interested in "munks".

I'm searching for a more official answer, but I haven't found it yet. I just wanted to say that I'm 5'3" with my shoes on and I think that puts me about the same height as Stitch if I remember right. Hopefully someone with more knowledge can come on here and confirm.

My sister works in the costuming department at DHS, and she says the height requirement is 4'11" - 5'0". I'm not sure how strict they are on that or what though...

Just so you know, your "Disney Height" may be a bit off from your real height. One of my roommates was good friends with Lilo and Stitch and she was just barely 5'.

If she is measured by Disney at 60.5 inches she'd have a chance, but I wouldn't assume that she'd get measured down.

On the same token, don't worry about the munks... she's too short them.

Disney is very strict when it comes to Stitch and Lilo...I'm 4 foot 9 1/2 inches, and I'm able to play him...but one of the girls in my training was 5 feet exactly, and she got disapproved for it because they said that she was too tall for the character...My trainers told me recently that they changed the height range for a few of the characters....some characters are taller now...some are shorter...and with your daughter being 5'1.5.....depending on what Disney needs, they might push her to be friends with the munks...they start at 5'2"ish now.

Yeah, Stitch and Lilo are both pretty little. But you should tell her that the munks so fun - like Stitch, they both get to play around and be crazy, but with them it's awesome because they always get to goof around together!
