So I just noticed something very cool.

I listen to Live365 at work, and I love it.

So I listen a lot, and i have so much music, not only commited to memory from the parks... but from going there so often as well. So im listening just now... and I hear 'Golden Dream' from the American Adventure at Epcot. Only its spacey sounding. So i look at what the name is... and its 'Golden Dream - Space Mountain Concourse' So instantly, i start thinking of other times Ive made this obsvervation, and today I decdied to tell all of you....

I think its absolutley creative and amazing, that they recycle all of the music to be used in all of the parks. Especially through magic kingdom. You can hear 'spacey versions' of the tiki room, and many other disney songs. Its just so cute, and most people would probably never notice it. but.. Im a music major and i live and breathe instrumental, and classical music. (the mere sound of a piccolo brings tears to my eyes)

Anyway, just throught I'd share something that I dont think most people pay attention to.

Have any of you noticed something, you think most people dont pay attention to?

Not exactly the same (though, on the music subject, my 11 yo dd didn't even realize that they play music at the parks. She was so excited she didn't notice!)
--We like to explore the street scenes at MGM, and nobody else was around, b/c they were all on the rides. We ended up having both Mickey and Minnie to ourselves. I think people just don't realize they are back there!
::MinnieMo :goodvibes ::MickeyMo

At the parks, it's amazing how many people haven't noticed the FastPass system, or just figure it wouldn't apply to them - I've heard people say as much.

I notice the length of lines and get in the shortest one! Waiting to enter Epcot, there were lines that were at least 4 times longer than the one we were in, just because you saw those lines right after you got off the monorail. Often there are FP machines with lines and others with no lines.

I often notice that the line has moved while the folks in front of me are "off in Neverland" :rolleyes1

That entering a ride from the right is shorter than entering from the left.

Really? I was wondering about this. My dh is left-handed and always says it's best to choose the line on the left, because most people are right-handed and naturally veer right. It works great at the movies. We always enter on the left side, and there's always more open seating there, than on the right. So I guess I'm a little surprised that you've noticed the right being the shorter side.

Anyway, thanks for the tip! :)

Greenyskp......what is live365???? :flower:

www.live365.com

sign up, do a search for disney and enjoy listening to music from the parks!!

My favorites are Radio Buena Vista, Sorcerer Radio and D-Magic Radio

Enjoy!

While it isn't based on live365, you should really check out Subsonic Radio... the Requests system is great, and his collection is over 1800 tracks ranging from a few seconds ("The monorail doors will be closing momentarily. Please stand clear of the doors") to hour-long Epcot area music loops. Very cool.

THis also plays into the set up of Main Street USA. As you walk in, all the shops on your right have items you need for the day - cameras, I believe sunscreen, autograph books, etc. As you leave, all the shops on your right (on your left if you were walking in) are gift shops. People tend to walk to the right.
