What have you eaten at Electric Umbrella in Epcot?

Looking at the menu, their basic stuff seems to have a different twist to it? Does that make the food better or just weird?

Also, is there plenty of AC'd seating here?

Thanks!

We always have lunch at there, but I can't recall what we get.

There is plenty of air-conditioned seating in there. It does get crowded, but we've never had a problem getting a table. There always seems to be someone leaving, as we are walking up to the dining room. (I always use a Clorox-wipe on the table as soon as we sit down. That place is busy, and hundreds of people sit there every day).

Thanks - I was interested in the pineapple slaw that goes on some of the sandwiches.

We ate there 12-19-07 for dinner (had LeCellier for lunch... yummmy!)
-DS had the Island Chicken Salad and it was pretty good.
-DH & I went for the burgers (our only ones all week... and we were just in a burger-kinda-mood) They were average- not bad, not great.
-DD had the kids meal turkey wrap- good, but she does not like American cheese and it was hard to peel off (I know... wierd, but give her provolone, havarti or muenster and she's one happy girl!)

Plenty of seating and yep- bring along your Clorox wipes :) First time we'd eaten here- was good for a quick in and out, but we prefer Sunshine Season's in the Land.

Thanks - was thinking of this place if we are over in Future World at lunch. Looks like it will be a better idea to head over to World Showcase.

This is the most disgusting place we have ever eaten in all of WDW--and we did it on 2 different trips, so I don't think you can chalk it up to a bad day there. Just nasty food and uninspiring atmosphere.

WOW. Okay, we really enjoy this place. I've been there twice and each time had hot, fresh food.

In the past I have ordered the Double Cheeseburger and last time I had the Chicken Strips. As for the location itself I thought it was very nice and had plenty of seating, along with the AC during the summer months.

I've been there 3 times... the food has been consistantly good over the past 4 years. The burgers are good if that is what you are craving. Since that is all I've had there, I can't comment on anything else.

Good burgers. I don't remember if the topping bar was as extensive as the ones in MK, but I always enjoy the burgers.:thumbsup2

We are easy to please and always enjoy the burgers and chicken strips here:thumbsup2 It is definitely busy but we have also always found a seat. Enjoy:goodvibes

Thanks! Looks like folks are split over this one, so I guess we'll play it by ear.

The bacon double cheese burger is good. So is the island chicken salad. But, if you're at Epcot, I'd recommend eating at one of the other - much better - options. In Future World, Sunshine Seasons has many excellent options. In World Showcase I highly recommend the lamb plate at Tangerine Cafe or a quiche along with a decadent dessert from the bakery in France.

we thought the food was fine..we had cheese burgers and such

I agree. The burgers were fine. Nothing weird about them. Just plain old cheeseburgers and fries. I don't do "weird" food.;) If it's too many kinds of foods mixed together - I get kind of grossed out - give me plain food - I'm happy. Electric Umbrella offers that, so I like it.:thumbsup2
