Just curious if any of the different threads have changed your thoughts about a subject or your plans to do something. For me it was one of the many threads about having advanced children skip kindergarten and go to 1st grade. I truly wanted and thought my daughter should skip to 1st but after reading everyones opinons and reasoning, I actually changed my mind and am truly happy that she stayed in kinder. Like I said just curious!

I remember one time when DD had to do a review of Ireland for junior high; we put a shout-out on the DIS board and had wonderful Irish disboarders give her really neat information. She got an A+:woohoo:

this is minor in the grand scheme of things, but I changed my whole stroller plan for our trip last summer

I ALWAYS took my own stroller - ALWAYS. This time I was travelling without hubby and my youngest was 4 - able to walk, but a stroller would be darn handy at times. I would still take my own stroller for a younger child, but for a preschooler this worked well, and the airport experience was much easier.

I was positive that we needed park hoppers. I decided to skip them and save the $250 for other things. Great discussions on this board!

LOL Me too!:) after i did the math, and figured that we didn't really use the park hopping last time, i figured why spend the extra dough this time?

Well, I wouldn't say it was a change of mind, but it introduced me to rewards sites (sunshine rewards and cashduck for me). I paid for my room and MVMCP tix last trip all with rewards.

This trip so far I've applied $450 to my room only ressie, and have $200 disney dollars for cs & snacks, $85 towards a LaNouba tix, $25 rainforest cafe card and a $50 ll bean card towards new luggage. And I still have a good 9 months to earn more!

If I could score a golden ticket 40% off code I might just be able to pay my entire room for 14 nights and 10 day park hoppers all with rewards, ah I can dream :cloud9: LOL

They are sites where you can earn money by taking surveys and get money back for shopping through their links. I work at home and homeschool, so I have a good amount of time to try for surveys, and I don't go to WDW every year so I have time to let the rewards build up. I earn around $60-100 per month...again, nothing to quit your day job over, but it's fun to know my vacation was paid for by taking some surveys instead of sitting on my tush :happytv: .

Sunshine Rewards has a really good forum to help you get started if you are interested. Lots of info in their stickies and lots of friendly folks to answer questions.

There is a rewards board on the DIS too...with some info.
