What happens week of Thanksgiving?

Just booked our very first Thanksgiving week vacation at Poly and BWV for Nov 2016. What are fun activities and things happening around? What's the best thing to do Thanksgiving day?
We'll do a whole week Sun-Sun! So excited.

We haven't been at Thanksgiving in a couple of years but the big thing is watching the transformation of Epcot on Friday when it opens it is ready for Christmas. The week gets more and more crowded and many parks open earlier than even mentioned. Find something off property to do on Thanksgiving or at least don't go to the MK that day- we went a couple of years ago and pirates took over an hour at opening- we had to leave right after to make our breakfast reservations at 10am and the park had opened at 8am.
