What happens to ADRs if I modify my resort reservation

Hi everyone,

I am planning to stay at a resort hotel onsite at WDW but am not 100% sure of my dates yet so I was planning to book a Saturday to Saturday stay but will likely change it slightly to a Sunday to Friday stay (5 days) depending on our final plans.
If I book ADRs at the 180 + 10 day mark (180 +10) before the Saturday my resort reservation is for and then potentially change my resort reservation to Sunday-Friday (a day later), will I lose my ADRs because of the modification in my reservation?
I'm new to all this and a little bit confused.

You won't lose your ADR's. The bigger concern is modifying the reservation. WDW won't automatically reduce days on a booked reservation. That Sunday through Friday will have to be available in current inventory in order to modify the Saturday through Saturday reservation. If Sunday through Friday isn't available at your chosen resort/room category, you might have to switch resorts/room categories in order to suit your new dates.
