What happens on the last day? When does the luggage have to be packed? When will the luggage be removed from the cabin? Will breakfast be served?

last November was that if you wanted them to take the luggage off for you you had to have it out in the hallway by 11pm the night before. The last morning you make sure you keep some clothes with you and have room in your carryon or something to carry what you had on the night before with you. You leave your cabin with your carryon or your luggage if you chose to carry it off and you go to breakfast. Our breakfast was at 6:30 in Parrot Cay. We arrived a little late (inlaws are always late) and still got to eat and we were done and off the ship by 8 on our way back to WDW for 3 days! Very simple process. On other cruise lines it is a hassle to get off but Disney you just walk off when you want to get off. You go down to a big warehouse type area where you pick up your luggage according to your tag (we had Tinkerbell) and then you give Customs your filled out form (you get the tags and the forms the night before when they turn down your bed for the last sad time) and then you are done.

Hope this helps!
Heidi

The ship will be in port when you wake up. Your luggage will have been picked up the night before. I think you have to have it outside your door before 11 PM.

You will go to breakfast at the same restaraunt where you ate dinner the night before.

Disney security will peel your fingers, one by one, off of your verandah railing and will remove you from the ship kicking and screaming.

Oh...maybe that's not everyone...maybe that's just me!

Last year breakfast was served in the same restaurant, same seating where you dined the previous evening. If you had first seating, you ate at 6:45. Second seating ate at 8:00. You can also eat at the buffet from 6:30 to 8:30 (continental breakfast). You cannot get room service. All guests had to be out of the room by 8:00 and be off ship by 9:00.

Ohhh, so I'm not the only one......
That's very good to know!

I also am thinking of stowing away - ever try that?

HOPEFULLY the Meek shall inherit the Earth (ie: ohiominnie willst own the stateroom) while he that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind (ie: security willst fall to the flush of thy toilet and leave ohiominnie alone)... a VERY loose translation...

Cry like a big baby :( and pout all the way home. All the while you are admiring the new jewelery you just acquired on board and in 2 ports :)
It just happened to be my birthday when I was made to leave the ship and go home.

From what I read on another post, they won't even let you lock yourself in the bathroom. :(

Hmmm...has anybody tried handcuffing themselves to the Captain Mickey statue?

;)

In my situation...I usually have to be pulled from the room kicking and screaming.." I don't want to go.....I don't want to go "

It does not matter if my luggage is already off the ship or not...I want to stay !!!!!

After reading the posts here I find out I am NOT abnormal. Super Glueing yourself to the verandah IS normal. I took my mother in law (who is my Disney Partner in Fun) on her first Disney Cruise in January. After we got back from our fun in the sun, full body massage, drinks on the beach excursion, she laid down on the bed kept repeating to herself......
I don't want to get off
I don't want to get off
I don't want to get off
and on and on and on.
To get her to quit whining I booked another cruise for January 2004 and extending with a WDW 4nt trek. She is now a "Happy Camper" or should I say "Cruiser" .

Just before our cruise, we saw "Catch Me if You Can" (Tom Hanks, Leonardo diCaprio) about the guy who impersonated several people and defrauded banks out of millions.

I started to think ... hmmmm ... maybe there's a spare captain's uniform in a closet somewhere... ;)

Going up to all the crew you meet, and saying, can I stow away in your cabin, Pleeeaaaasssseee??????
I did not want to leave and can't wait to go back.

Oh yeah, luggage, outside doors by 11:00pm. That was the only bad thing about Castaway. You have to get back on the ship and pack your belongings so they are outside the door by 11:00 pm, but you heart is not in your packing, you don't want to leave.
