I have not heard too much about Studio Sea on these boards?? From reading other things I know they have games and the such but I just thought geez that is one thing I have not read much about on the boards. So I know all you experienced cruisers will let us know what goes on at Studio Sea?? :disrocks:

If you look at the navigators at http://www.dcltribute.com/ you will see exactly what goes on in each location. The only thing that we went to there was the after Golden Mickeys wrap party where there was dancing and Mickey paid a visit.

Studio Sea is used for a wide variety of things.

During the day a number of the art of entertaining series are held here. Also I've been to a number of DVC presentations in Studio Sea during the dat.

In the evening there are family dance parties and game shows like Mickey Mania.

We went to the Family 80's Night Dance Party on 2nd night of 4 night cruise.
Family Kareoke (sp) followed, but it was too painful to stay past two or three acts.

Family Spy Party, Golden Mickey After Party, 80s Family Dance Party... basically every night after the 2nd show there was some sort of family event in Studio Sea (at least on the 7 night Mexico cruise we did).

Father Daughter Dance, Pirate and Princess Party

Denae

The amazing vegitable car race (don't know what its called)
Mickey Mania and Walk the Plank (family game shows)
Spy Party (family dance with spy theme)
Family Karriokee(sp? me too). Some tallented kids, but what I didn't like was these pre-teen girls up on stage singing fairly "slutty" songs. I would have thought that DCL would have been a bit more selective in the selections (maybe they are and I'm just sheltered - you know I am 'cause I listen to KLOVE)
The "adult education" series have several sessions in Studio Sea - the cooking classes, napkin folding, "mixology", table decoration, etc
Have heard that they have done "Who Wants to be a Mouseketeer" in here on the Wonder.

I was just thinking that same thing.

I like the commercial where the parents are just returning home from Las Vegas and they ask the teen boy what he did while they were gone - "nothing" and he asks what they did and the parents respond "nothing" :rotfl:
