What happens if you reserve dinner for 10 but 8 show up?

We made reservations for 10 the first day of our trip at Ohanas. However, depending on my sil's job she and the baby may come a couple days later. What happens if only 8 show up? We won't know until a couple days before.

You shouldn't have any problem. Just when you check in at the restaurant, let them know only 8 could make it. Lots of people have had the same issue.

As said, you will be fine.

Just notify the host/hostess at the podium when checking in and there won't be an issue.
