What happens if you miss your Millenium Falcon boarding call?

The Millenium Falcon chess room can be loud and chaotic, and the last time I went, I almost missed my color being called admist the hustle and bustle. Has anyone had any experience with missing their boarding color being called and what would happen? I assume earlier in the day would be alright, since there aren't as many single riders. But later in the afternoon, when Single Riders are filling up all of the cockpits, I can only imagine chaos would ensue.

You have to let the cm and wait for your color to roll back around.

Last time we rode, a group of 2 had missed their boarding call and came up to try to enter our group that was assembling. Definitely seemed to cause some confusion and disrupt the flow of things (and the CMs seemed kind of annoyed, but I may have just been reading too much into it). They asked them to wait off to the side until they could fit them in.
