and I've already made ADR's that includes the whole group?? We are going for Thanksgiving w/a large group (10) and I'll be making ADR's for us soon (PLEASE November hours come out SOON!!! )

Have never been w/this large of a group before. What if I make the reservation and 4 people out of the 10 decide they don't want to get up at 6:30 for a character breakfast that day. Or if we are all exhausted and don't feel like dinner at O'hana the night I have scheduled? I remember the hostess always saying when we arrive "is your entire party here"? before they sat us when we went last time.

Well, have to say that might happen, I know there is no way in heck I would get up at 6:30 am to eat. I would think that when you arrive at your ADR explain the difference in party size and they should be able to accommodate you with no problem. The only thing I could think of that would be a problem is if you had more people in your party as you arrived. Good luck getting all the ADR's you want!!

My best friend is a very picky eater so she would sit with us and have a diet coke but not eat and the servers were fine with this...we did not do character meals just regular TS places

Make your reservations for all ten of you. It's always easier to make the reservation for the largest number of people who could possibly eating with you.

Then as your planning goes along and Uncle Ted says he's not waking up that early for breakfast and Cousin Sue says she has to eat a granola bar and nothing else that early in the morning, you call and have your party reduced to 8.

If you are all exhausted and no one wants to go for dinner, call and cancel the entire thing.

However - make sure the people who do cancel understand that they cannot change their minds! Taking a reservation down in the number of people is almost always not a problem. Increasing the party size can be a major problem.
