What happens if a better code comes out?

I currently have a reservation on "hold" with the Visa ZBC discount. If I end up paying the deposit and a better code comes out, is the change fee $50?

I've never booked a package before because I always found it cheaper to do room only with AP. This is the first time I've found that I get more (1 day base ticket) for a little less than what I was paying for a room only.

I purchased a package in January w/ no code. Then added a code that came out this August... Changed resorts. No penalty or fee!

I think as long as your are outside the 45-day window( or whatever the correct time frames are for packages) you don't incur change fees, etc.
