Hi all,

JillRobinson posted a little while ago that its a press event weekend 5th and 6th November, when we (and she :)) are at DLP next.

What happens at press events - do they disrupt the park a lot for normal guests? Do they do extra shows etc for the press to see?

I'm just wondering if we should try to be as much a part of the press event as possible, or if we should avoid the main park?

hi there, my brother get to go to the press events and no you will not be disrupted. they have special vip fastpasses, special seating areas at shows and parade. they are at the launch of new seasons so that weekend is bonfire night then they went for launch of magical moments.

think they also get booked in for meals in advance as well, so they follow a schedule.

both times he has been they have stayed at the new york, most press people are themselves and one child.

enjoy your trip!

thanks :) - I'm a bit confused though - there aren't any bonfire night fireworks scheduled on either the 5th or 6th of November. Do you think the press event might be for the start of Christmas season instead (supposed to begin 7th November).

yes thats probably it! it was definitely bonfire night they went last year but think you are right it was for the christmas launch! sorry! get confused and he keeps them secret from me incase I try to sneak in the suitcases!! :rotfl:

I don't blame you - my brother would be my best friend in the whole wide world if he got to attend press events and take me with him :lmao:!
