What happened?

Hi all, I'm new to this forum. I've used the rent-trade site to rent out my points a few times, but there seem to be some new restrictions since last summer that have all but killed that site.
I've tried to find out why this was done, but don't seem to get real answers.
Does anyone know why the restrictions were instituted and does anyone know where else you can go to rent out your points if you can't use them? I know from the same site that "Dave's" will rent them from me, but he marks them up 30% which seems expensive for me and for the renter.
Of course, I could sell them, but I expect I'll want to use them again when times get better.

There were a few issues with people not getting their rooms and renters disappearing with the money so now it is very restricted. I sold my points to "Dave" to take my DL trip this fall and it worked out well. The price that he rents them for is reasonable and saves you from a lot of work and worry.
