Was just checking touringplans.com and they reported DCA at a 1.5 yesterday and DL at 3.9 for the crowd levels. Does that sound correct? Was anyone there yesterday? I find it hard to believe. Are people still demonstrating in Anaheim? Has that affected the crowd level? Just wondering what happened yesterday? :confused3

I doubt those numbers are correct. For numbers like that DCA would have to be a ghost town, yet from yesterday's Tweets people were still reporting 2+ hr waits for RSR.

i cant even count the number of times its been posted on here how off TP is when it comes to DL...I would never use them for DL...when I use them in wdw I found them to be almost spot on but in DL???? Never:sad2:

We were there yesterday (left at 12 to head home)
We got in cars land at 7:30 and RSR had a 2hr wait. And fasspass was out at 9:40am.

Where did you see this? Last I checked July 31 was a 10. Just like Aug 1-12 are all 10.

Just looking now. If you look at the bottom of the July 31 page it says the prediction was a 10 for DCA but the actual was a 1.2 (actual based on lines). But the days before and after are 9-10. So maybe bad Lines data from yesterday? Or just a glitch?

I don't think is TP's predictions that are off, it appears to be something wrong with the backwards looking actuals. Predictions going forward are in the 8-10 range, which seems about right.

Now I see it. Yes, they have a typo or something.

I wouldn't say crowds were that low, but they weren't the 9 and 10 they originally had for that day

Mid busy- we started at DCA and everything minus carsland was walk on or small wait most of the morning. Went to DL later and it was a bit more crowded feeling

A fire drill during lunch at blue bayou was not pleasant. They evacuated all of no square from the buildings, pushed everyone out to the street. It was just chaos and really not well handled, IMO. No indication on when we would get back in- nothing. Guests milling about the narrow streets not knowing what to do, if it was a real ER or a drill (server told us drill).

I know they have to do these things, but there was no direction or concern for the guests safety. Kinda scary if it had been real

(I know this wasn't what you asked, but it may have impacted crowds if some people left after this)

Rsr has 2 hr wait at 7:30 because it hadn't started running yet. It started around 7:45-8am Tuesday morning. The rest of DCA was very manageable.

Does anyone know if it's a common occurrence for RSR to not be running first thing in the morning (7:00)?

We are going next week and we're planning on riding it right away and then doing the rest of CL before getting a FP after 8:00.

I guess we'll have to have a Plan B because I don't want to start the day with a 2-hour wait when there are so many other things to do with our extra hour!

For the past month and a half that RSR has been open it's probably been ready to go at 7AM only a handful of times (my guess is single digits). I say go straight to it during your morning hour and if it's open, great! If it's not, don't waste any time waiting for it to open and go do something else like Luigi's which generates a really long line too and doesn't have FP.

When we went to DCA last Wednesday Jly 25, we used our EMH and entered the park at 7am. Instead of using the GCV entrance, we went to the main turnstiles. Once in the park there was a sign near the Carthay Circle that said RSR would not be running until 12pm. Most people kept heading that direction anyways.
I said something to my family, asking did we want to follow those crowds which I felt would spill over to the other carsland rides once they realized RSR wasn't running, or did we want to zig zag away and head for TOT.

I was surprised by the sign, since I hadn't seen anyone mention it in a report. From what I saw, it looked like most people didn't bother to read it.

Oh my goodness. I'm just getting a handle on my Disney scheming and what the abbreviations but are you saying you walked into California Adventure at 7:30 am and the Fastpasses were "sold out" for the entire day by 9:40 am?!

That sounds about right. That is what happened when we were there too. It's crazy!

The fastpass for RSR is gone by 9 on the worst days and 9:45 at the latest. That timing has been pretty consistent.

At DCA now. Rsr not running until 10am. So the FP line is crazy long. They still aren't giving passes out until 8am. I assume they will be gone by 9am.

That has been typical for RSR since it opened in June. That will change probably starting in January as popularity/novelty starts to drop off some.

Must have been a glitch, I was in DCA that day and it was just as busy as the day before and the day after.
