I think what frustrated a lot of people was that it was never indicated people were only allowed one code (and even Mal pointed that out when she got upset about people asking for more than one). I asked for one code for each (tv, suit) and I know my PM was read, but was never responded to, so I have no idea if she found my PM acceptable or not. I think a simple "hey guys, since so many people are asking for them, please limit the request to one code per person" or something similar instead of getting upset over something none of us knew there was a restriction to. Then there was a post angry at how ungrateful we were, when I saw tons of posts thanking her profusely and commenting on her generosity. In my PM, I also thanked her and commented her on her kindness. So to see a thread that really generalized the group as a whole (instead of addressing only the people she was having problems with) was kind of disheartening and I even saw a post from one or two people wondering what they did wrong and apologizing to her (when they really had no need to).
I realize that no one is entitled to be given a free code and no one is obligated to give out a free code. But personally, I think the situation could have been handled in a much better way because it did obviously cause some tension and obviously did make people question what was going on.
