What happened to the Chicken tenders?

Looks like they have made some menu changes in the last year. Have the chicken tenders/fingers been replaced by chicken nuggets basically park wide? The chicken tenders/fingers were good. Even though they were fried you could tell that you were actually eating white chicken meat. What are the nuggets like? Any chicken noticeable in those or is it mostly just breading? I don't like to feed my DSs fried food too often, but at Disney it is a special treat.

Thanks for your help! :daisy:

On our January trip, we had different chicken nuggets at different places.

The best ones (according to my 13-year-old resident nugget expert) was Crystal Palace. They were more like great big popcorn chicken pieces (similar to what you would get at KFC) than nuggets. :thumbsup2

Chef Mickey's had the "regular" chicken nuggets. They were OK. Nothing fabulous, but definitely edible.

We ate at multiple other buffets, but I can't remember what theirs were like. NOTHING was bad, that we came across....I'm sure your son will like them, particularly after working up an appetite at the parks. :)

Yes, I believe the chicken tenders have been replaced with nuggets everywhere. But they are very good. The last time I had them they tasted pretty much the same, just in smaller pieces. The tenders were one of my favorite counter service menu items, but I wasn't disappointed with the nuggets.

The chicken is just a smaller version of the chicken fingers or chicken tenders ...just more bite size and easier to handle instead of the big ones.....I LOVE chicken fingers and these are delicious

I was worried when I saw the change to nuggets too because I loved the chicken strips! But the nuggets are good! :goodvibes They are basically the same as the strips, just smaller.

Thanks everyone! Glad to hear the quality is still there. I am sure both DSs will be happy. :goodvibes We can only afford so many TS restaurants and I am kind of wierd about the kids having more than one hot dog a week (a long time ago I heard that more than one hot dog a week can be bad for kids :confused3 ). Oldest DS is allergic to peanut butter, so being able to keep chicken nuggets in the rotation of mac-n-cheese and pizza will be good.
