Do they still have the Main street electrical Parade at WDW?

I looked through the "parades" listed but none of them are that one. There is something called "spectromagic"....is that it?

I know they changed it at WDL to "Disneyland eletric parade" and it is'nt on main street, MK anymore but I dont see it listed at WDW.

I sure hope they still have it there...

It has always been my favorite part of WDW as a kid and my DD and DS LOVED it and looked forward to it every year at WDL.

I have'nt been to WDW since 1993 so I was just wondering why it is never mentioned......

We saw the Electric Light Parade at DCA on our last trip. It really brought back a lot of great memories. I'm glad they revived it for the California parks but it sure would be nice to see it back at WDW too!

abbreviated version of the original. I have photos from our '99 trip to WDW, and when comparing them to the photos from DCA taken a year ago, there seem to be many missing floats. I'm not a Disney history buff...maybe what's running at DCA is the original parade and what we saw at WDW was the expanded version.

  :scared1: They dont have the eletric parade at WDW???????????????????????? :furious:

WAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!! :sad1:
Whos brught idea was it to take away the best part???

My DD is going to be sooo disappointed. (me too)

I cant belive they would keep "its a small world" :crazy2: and scrap the electric parade :confused3

I need to go now,

I have a sudden headache

I might be crazy but isn't Spectromagic the electric parade? That's was still happening at WDW when we were there in 2004. It looks pretty electrical to me anyway. I hadn't heard that they had discontinued it yet. My DD likes all of it except for the villains float. She hides when she hears that "scary" music. I think it's a pretty cool float though.

Spectromagic is a more "current" electric parade with floats of characters from more recent years like Ariel.

The Main Street Electrical Parade (while a classic to those of us who went to Disney in the 70's and 80s) has floats from some of the older films like Dumbo, Pete's Dragon, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Alice in Wonderland to name a few.
