... What groceries do you buy for delivery? We will be buying for the first time for our upcoming trip but I want to make certain I am not missing anything LOL

We won't really be cooking meals except for breakfast the odd day? Help this first timer make a list of essentials for 4 adults and 3 kids.

We buy mainly for the 24 bottle paks of water.

One or two gallons of water (to make coffee).

Milk
Cereal (one or two boxes)
Thomas Bagels
Butter and/or cream cheese
Yogurt
Juice
Fresh fruit
Small can of coffee
snacks
a frozen pizza
soda or juices
Maybe eggs, waffles or syrup

It all depends on the # of people in our party and the number of nights we will be
there. This is also only when we do not have a car (twice so far). We do not do any real cooking in our kitchen.

We shop on our own, but this is the list I bring with me. This is for 2 adults & a teen & tween:

2 pks Krispy Kreme donuts
2 pks Maxwell House prefiltered coffee
pint of half & half
1/2 gal. low fat milk
1/2 gal. orange juice
2 pks Thomas' onion bagels
sliced cheese
Splenda packets
bananas
chips & salsa
pk pre-cooked chicken nuggets/wings
2 cans campbells chic. noodle soup
sm container of laundry detergent
sm container of bleach for hot tub
1 sm. pk toilet paper
paper cups, napkins, flatware & plates
foil
case of soda
case of water
case of beer
case of Mike's Lemonades

:) - after reading the last post, I forgot to add 1 4pack toilet tissue. I don't want to hunt down housekeeping, lol.

If you are coffee drinkers, rather than buy coffee filters, just stick a handful in a zip lock bag and put it in your suitcase. The coffee pots take the standard Mr. Coffee regular filter. Personally I don't care for the prefiltered coffee.

P.S. AnnaS, Even with 11 in our family reunion and multiple trips, I've never ever run out of the toilet paper provided by Disney. (Save your money)

LOL I was wondering about the toilet paper!

We are resort hopping ssr/akl/blt if we get milk Disney will store it for us correct?

What do we do with our supplies that we want moved do we bag it all, what can remain out just put near our bags and leave a note there's milk/eggs/etc in the fridge?

We eat in a little more than average (or so its seems when I read the boards), but we mainly buy quick stuff--no real meal prep for this momma on vacaction.

We buy milk, apple juice, soda, bottle water,
frozen pizzas, eggs, bread, cheese, deli meat for sandwiches, chips, some sort of fruit (like oranges), spaghetti noodles & a jar of sauce, pancake mix
Diapers (if travelling with a little one)

Even thigns like sunscreen & shampoo we sometimes purchase in FL instead of having to pack them.

We almost always eat breakfast in the room, so I lke to have a substantial meal. We usually eat lunch and/or dinner in the parks...so on our off days we just eat a heat & go type meal in the room.

I love having my kitchen on vacation. My kids would make me go broke on milk & apple juice alone if I had to buy the individual size servings.

I was wondering if Popsicles would be a good idea. They might taste good after a hot morning at the parks.

Sorry but we ALWAYS run out of toilet paper & I hate having to call down to get some. I don't know...maybe my kids use an excessive amount or something but we never have enough rolls in a 1BR for a family of 4.

And yes they will store your cold items for you. :thumbsup2

dEFINETEL:thumbsup2 some ice cream too for evenings:cool1:
remember free delivery with $200/// my bill was $193. I had to go back and order more to avoid the $12 delivery charge:goodvibes
While we always have a rental car I do NOT want to shop for 2 hrs!
We get mostly breakfast items also// Such nice rooms but we hardly spend any time in them and never cook dinner
Since SSR has the grills though ,this year may be a first.

I ordered flavoed ccoffee creamer, chocolate milk, pop tarts, granola bars, microwave popcorn, pool toys(like noodles), and wine!
