I win!!! I start August 2nd. I'm going into 8th because of my late birthday (if I was born 10 days earlier I would be going to 9th). This stinks because all of my friends are going to high school.

Hey u start on my b-day. I'll be a Freshman and we start the 23rd of August.

lol, you start on my birthday, and I will be in Disney!!
I will be a junior, and I move in the day after labor day. And then there are a bunch of different orientations. then that first week you kind of just get used to where your classes are and get to know all the new people and your advisor. then there isan orientation day for the whole school on the weekend and a kick off dance, and then the next monday we start our real schedules.

you have an early cut-off! our school is oct 31st! a friend of mines b-day is right on it too! shes still 13 and doesn't turn 14 until then and the rest of us are already 14 and some 15! funny thing is shes the tallest girl in our grade and could pass as a lot older (5'8! and still growing-her cousins 15 and either 6'0 or 6'1)

I am in my Sophmore year. Yay no more beeing called a Frosh. I hated that. lol Well im not an upper classmen, but i am one year away from it. lol I would be an under under upper classmen. lol

Grade 7 - 12 turning 13
Grade 8 - 13 turning 14
Grade 9 - 14 turning 15
etc..

I will be a Junior in HS, and we don't go back Sept. 5th or 6th...not quite sure which. We were issued a new state law in which no school can start until AFTER labor day...I was SOO mad!

it's exactly the same here. though, i've heard some places in the states don't have kindergarten.
we generally keep the grades K-8 in the same school though, but it is divided in other ones.

I'm going into 4th year here (I'm 15 on the 14th August)
We start the 16th August and we finish at the end of June

i'm going into year 10 (though i don't know what grade that is) and i think we go back on September 5th (though unlucky me i'm still in school until next Tuesday and i go back 2 days earlier then other schools)
