My sister several years ago used to really hate those leash harness things for kids. To the point of asking someone once if it would have just been easier to get a dog..well...I was just talking to my sister about our upcoming WDW trip. AND

She has to get one for her 20 month old DD. LMBO!!

Apparently DN will not ride in a stroller (she can undo the belt too!) and will not be carried-little miss independant. So her only means of control is going to be a harness....

It really made me laugh when she told me...

I don't think any parent deserves comments for watching out for the safety of their children, but in this case she deserves it.

Haven't you noticed that the people who give the most advice on children, are people that don't have any (yet!)!?? When I was single/no children, I had my opinions on the way my kids would not behave in public or that I would surely never use a "dog" leash on my kids! LOL!

I love it!

The first time I used my leash with my oldest DD (then 15 months), a nearby mother asked me if they came in teen age boy sizes. To which her DS15 rolled his eyes, and whined, "mo-om!"

It sounds like your DN and my youngest DD are cut from the same cloth. You sister better use the leash some at home before WDW. Youngest DD HATES her leash, but she is going to wear it anyway.
