Our flight from EWR (Newark) is very early a.m. with a layover in Atlanta, but not enough in between time to stop for something to eat. We get into MCO at 1:30 and then I'm assuming, another hour by ME to WDW. We'd like to be able to bring something to eat on the plane, but have no idea what's allowed these days.

Anything you buy AFTER you pass through security is okie-dokie to bring on the plane.

If you have things that must go through security ... liquids and gels are out. You can make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, but you can't bring bread and PACKETS of peanut butter and of jelly. You can bring a bagel spread with cream cheese, but you can't bring a PACKET of cream cheese. You can bring a sandwich with ketchup on it but you can bring a PACKET of ketchup. And so on.

Bring dinner for 12 if you want, the only prohibitions are on liquids and gels going through security.

Anything that isn't a liquid or gel. The one thing I wasn't sure about was yogurt, so I didn't bring it. I had snacks like pretzels and cookies and a sandwich.
