What Financing does DVC offer?

I can't tell you all that is offered but, we just purchased at BLT and were given 10.75% for ten years. Now that I am back from WDW, I've called the bank and got a LOC for 3.5%. That payment looks a lot better.:thumbsup2

I know when we bought in the options were 10.75% or 14.75% depending on credit rating. It was a 10 year term with at least 10% down, but you could use the incentive (ours was $5 per point) towards that 10%. HTH!

Tinkercat is correct. I was at the DLR sales center on Saturday and that is what they were offering.

I am curious to know what bank gave you a LOC for 3.5%?? That would be killer!

That is a killer interrest rate! Is it fixed??? How did Disney respond if you had already signed to finance through them, but then found the better deal?

I had a friend who bought through Disney, and she said there was some type of incentive if you had the payments taken directly out of your checking account, vesus sending in the monthly payments? I'll have to call her to get more info!

Direct Debit lowered it by like .5%. As far as how they respond if you find a better deal, you send them the payment from the proceeds of your new loan and it's paid off. There are no prepayment penalties at all.

And if you have a reward credit card you can do an intermediate step: you can charge the remaining balance to your credit card (get the rewards) and then pay off the credit card immediately with the proceeds of the new loan. :)
