I allways use 200 film but bought some 400 this time.
Last time I went to disney I tryed to take pixs of the parade at night but these did not turn out.
Is there any film you can use to take night photos?

fujicolor superia x-tra (print) 800 has good color and is readily available, at least around my home. I know our local kmart has it. personally I find fuji color to be much better than kodak and definitly better than the supermarket brands and you don't have to spend much more (kodak usually is more in fact by me)

One more hint...if you have access to a tripod, that helps, especially for fireworks. Even steadying your camera against a solid structure, like a post, will help prevent blur.

If you want GREAT saturated color photos, go with Kodak Portra 800 VC (for vivid color). It is a professional film and a bit more expensive, but in my opinion worth the $$. I know alot of people swear by Fuji...it does great with greens and blues, but I am a "red" person and Kodak handles those colors better, IMHO.

have always used 400, but this time I'm giving 800 a try. Figuring that most of the MNSSHP events that I want to take pictures of will be at or around dusk.

Definitely Fuji film - it's all I use. We used 800 for the parades and night shots and they turned out great.

I have to grudingly admit :)that even as a dyed in the wool fuji person I did actually like the Kodak high definition. I take pictures of my husband's decorative finishes and the colors have to be good plus the contrast is subtle and it worked well. still like fuji better overall but Kodak is getting better(lol, sure they are wiping the sweat off their brow at Kodak now that I said that::yes:: )

We went on a cruise and I bought some disposable "underwater" camera's from Fugi. We never used them and I let my son take them to a Nascar race to take pictures. They made the BEST pics I have seen... Even taking pics of the cars racing by us. They cost about $8 at Walmart. Hope this helps
