What exactly is included in meal plans

We are starting to look at options for our honeymoon. We are thinking of splurging and possibly doing a meal plan with the 3 meals. What exactly is included in those. Where can you and where can you not eat. Everything I have seen just says over XXX number of restaurants - but does not name them.
Can anyone who has done this tell me what is on the list or tell me where I can find a complete list of what exactly is included. Are things like the luau included or restaurants at DTD?
Thanks!

In the gold plan the one with three meals according to AAA Bk, Lunch, and Dinner per person is included. You can eat at all the character meals as far as I know, since I was able to do it on the Silver Package in 2002. The restruants at Downtown Disney should also be included in the package. All the Disney Dinner shows are included and it does state in the brochure Disney Character Dinning is included. It doesn't state that it is or isn't included but I would think that Victoria and Alberts is not included.
I am considering this package and e-mailed Disney Guest relations and was told that all restruants that were excluded in the Silver Package are included in the Gold Package. They included, Artist Point, Bistro de Paris, California Grill, Citricos, Coral Reef Restruant, The Flying Fish, Fultons Crab House, Jiko, Narcoosee's and Yachtsman Steak House.
Because of the above I am changing my package in December 2003 to the gold plan. Since it is your honeymoon have you considered the Platinum Package? The cruise, massage and dinner at Victoria and Alberts looks really nice.:D

here is an e-mail I recieved from guest relations about the gold plan

Wow, that is a lot of information on the plan. Thanks, it answered some of my questions that I had. That is the most thorough explanation I have seen so far. Do you know if you can use the dinner option for the Fantasmic show or is that considered a package that has to be purchased seperately?

Dansyr,
I'm glad the info I gave you is helping out other people,I sent you a PM with some more info I got,They are a few things I have found out differently about the dining.

First you no longer get choice of soup or salad at dinner on this years gold plan just appetizer, entree, dessert, and the two beverages and also besides the regular choice of sit down meal or buffet you can choose a combo meal (entree, side dish,+ non alcoholic bev.).

I found out you can't eat at Wolfgang puck's chefs table or in the upstairs dining room but you can eat at the cafe or express and I haven't got an answer back about the carriage ride.

Padisneylover,I am writing another e-mail to disney with some more questions I have I will ask about the Fantasmic Dinner Package for you.

Anyone here who needs any info I will send to you what I have just PM me here or e-mail me at iggyboo0914@webtv.net

Thanks,
Iggyboo(Matthew)

I also e-mailed guest relations and got basically the same info you got.
I did get an answer about the carriage rides. They are not included.
HOB gospel brunch is also not included

Is Wolfgang Puck's upstairs definitely not included??? I was planning on eating there before Cirque. I am so disappointed.

I haven't checked your pm yet, but thanks.
