What Exactly Do Red X Mean?

If someone with experience could tell me the difference...sometimes my clip art comes out great (with help from samster...thanks) and other times its just a red x box? What am I doing wrong in those case?

Your clipart will come out as a red x if it doesn't exist at the URL that you listed. Another reason would be if the place where it's hosted was really slow and so the page just "gave up" on trying to load it and put the red x. A third reason would be some hosts (like Geocities) don't let you use images that are hosted by them on other websites.
