What everyday items do you splurge on?

Real Maple Syrup. No Log Cabin or Mrs Butterworth allowed in the house. But we buy the cheapest brand, usually Great Value or Maple Grove Farms from Walmart

Boneless Rib eye steaks.

Other than that, we buy whatever has the lowest price. My wife loves Oreos and has discovered the Great Value version has a better/stronger chocolate flavor. Our meal planning is done for the most part in the grocery store based on what is on sale that week.

Vehicles - we only have Honda or Toyota vehicles
I'm 63 and bought my first Toyota 6 months ago. We'll see how that goes. It replaced a Mercury we had 20 years, because we wanted a new car going into retirement.
Got 31 years out of our Chevy. But have been primarily a Ford family. Fords have served us well.

Arizona i tea from the store shelf in big thick plastic jugs...ready to pour into my dally hydration routine.

splurge?

* easy to make any variety of tea on your kitchen counter
* easy to save dollars by making tea on your garden patio table in glass jar in the sun
* easy way to leave a massive carbon footprint purchasing thick plastic jugs full of a product that I can add water, sugar and stir at home

But hey...I use the thick jugs full of desert sand to hold down my wind curtains around my patios....weights to survive the desert winds are expensive.

ok- do tell more!

I simply couldn’t find bras that fit right. I hated the offensive things. Then somebody suggested I get them custom made from a Seattle store called Decent Exposures. They make something they call the “un bra.” They are so comfortable! You get to chose the style, the type of material used and the color. Plus there are additional options. For example, you can order flaps if you’re nursing. I bought three in 2016 and they’re still perfect. What’s more, if you lose weight or need them adjusted for any reason, you can send them back and for a small fee, they will adjust them. I needed my straps to be a little longer. No problem. The ladies that work there are fantastic and willing to help in any way! That place is the best thing that ever happened to bras.

I'm sure there are other things, but the first thing that comes to mind is bakery croissants! This is my new splurge since Covid. I wouldn't have thought to pick them up when I was able to actually GO INTO the grocery store, but I did find them while online shopping and doing a pick-up order and now we order them on a regular basis. Splurge $-wise and calorie-wise! Rather than a boring ham, tomato and lettuce sandwich on bread, it is much more exciting and tasty on a croissant! It doesn't take much to brighten my day.

comfortable shoes. If I find them, I stock up because chances are they will be discontinued.
Sadly, the most comfortable shoes I ever found were $10 walking shoes at WalMart. I usually had 3 pairs on hand, but a few years ago they stopped making them. Or, at least, stocking them. Now I have to pay more to get comfortable shoes.

If you truly mean everyday splurges, I head to Starbucks every afternoon after a day of Zooming and have a strawberry acai refresher with extra strawberries, and a birthday cake pop. They know me. I am addicted.

Love Beauty Planet for shampoo/conditioner (although Target now has the Function of Beauty stuff...I'm trying it now..so far so good!)

Dove cucumber/green tea for body wash. The same for deodorant (or Degree, I alternate when one is empty)

Old Spice soap/deodorant for DH (my scent choice, lol)

All for detergent.
Either Downy or Snuggle fabric softener.
Kodiak pancake/waffle mix
Dawn dishsoap; dishwasher is either the Up and Up from Target or Cascade.

I prefer the 'real sugar' soda to the HFCS ones, and will seek out to buy Pepsi Throwback or Mexican Coke.

Routinely, cheese, especially parmigiano-reggiano. And we buy tuna ventresca in olive oil as well as regular canned tuna. The higher quality tuna is so much better for tapas, pastas, and nicoise salads, but it's expensive, so we use regular tuna for casseroles and American style tuna salad. Also, Tide Pods.

I'm not fussy over many things -- lots of store brand at our house -- but we splurge on these things:

Colgate Total toothpaste
Comfortable shoes -- I stand up on tile all day at work
Real cheese -- never "singles", which are mostly oil
Good beef
Fresh vegetables
Good chocolate
Diet Dr. Pepper
Dawn dish detergent
My own homemade laundry detergent
Lee jeans -- but they don't have to be new

I am so going to try that custom bra place. Thanks for the idea.

Me too. I don't buy it often, but when I do, it has to taste like it did when I was a kid!

Other things I can think of at the moment:
Nellie's free range eggs
fancy flavored coffee pods for the Keurig
Cascade Platinum dishwasher pods
the acne wash DS likes
