I've been meaning to start this thread, for fun, for a while now. I have a hair product that I use when at Disney to tame my frizzy hair. It has a very unique fragrance and each time I use it I am transported back to the queue for the Safari at Animal Kingdom. The line stopped for a few minutes and I took the opportunity to defrizz.

The thought that pops to my mind is from 2014 and it comes back clear as day each time I use the product here at home (which isn't often because I have other things for my hair here)

Do you have something that instantly transports you to "Our happy place"?

Mine is shampoo. When I was packing last week, I found two bottles of H20 that I bought/had bought a while back. When I use that, I am back on the Disney Fantasy, in the Rainforest Room.

Great question!
I have an old MGM picture frame from 2005 that has a picture of my family eating at Sci-Fi diner! Every time I look at it it brings back fond memories of a “unique“ eating experience!:smickey:
My kids loved it!

My watches. I have a Mickey watch and a Minnie watch. Whenever I check the time, I am taken back to a happy place and happy memories

Quite a few meals— I do a lot of dvc cooking on our trips. Deli sandwiches instantly put me poolside at the boardwalk. We even call that meal dvc lunch. Fettuccine Alfredo—a standard dvc meal.

Even stranger, the smell I experience the moment I remove an n95 mask. That smell is the exact smell I notice when I deplane at MCO. It’s truly the only good thing about wearing a mask.

I also had a pair of runners I only wore at Disney. They always took me there in my mind. They are worn out now. Once I realised we wouldn’t be travelling, I put them into rotation here at home.

My magic kingdom shot glass. LOL Well that's just a weekly use thing!
I use my resort mugs for my to-go coffee every day. I need to get back and get some new ones, they are fading badly!
The pic I have on my dresser of our son on his first trip at the Jedi Training Academy.

I have a stack of the disposable white frosted plastic glasses with an image of the castle that WDW resorts used to give out in their quick serve restaurants. My cat likes to drink out of them (don’t ask). I call them her princess glasses — I also call her “Your Highness”.

On one of my first trips to WDW, I brought a travel sized bottle of the “One Step” brand hand sanitizer and used it often. It has a fresh, apple-like smell that I love! Over the years that brand changed the fragrance, but recently the apple scent has returned! Last spring I bought a 1 litre bottle of that kind(now rebranded as “One Step- Live Clean”). Now every time I use the sanitizer...which is often because of Covid...it brings me back to WDW!

I love this....

I have so many things, I use my Disney mugs each day and they are hanging on the outside of my cabinet (I may have a few to many :earseek:if that is possible). I wear my hoodies most of the time and many of my masks are Disney themes as well. I work a second job at a second hand store a few nights a week and I love it when my co-workers find Disney things and come running up to me to show me, or when I come in on my next shift they tell me all about it. It always sparks a conversation with them about what I have seen at the parks or if I have seen that mug or ears etc. I love being able to share stories with the young staff that I work with... oh Disney how I miss you!!
