I guess the flex-tickets are the only way to get in if you are staying longer than four days. That's not a bad deal though, especially if you're going to Sea World. Thanks for the info! I guess it could change by the time we actually get down there....about this time next year!

I find it odd that they changed it to 4 days. It would seem to me that if people are in the parks for 5 days, they are spending money in the parks and for some at the resorts for 5 days. By cutting the ticket to 4 days, I would think that most people would just cut their trip by one day or spend the other day at Seaworld or Disney and Universal gets no money if they do that.

I agree with tarmand. The more days people are in the parks, the more money they will obviously spend. It's funny. Last night I was just arguing with a friend who is planning a January trip that there were 5 day tickets available. She kept insisting she could only find 4 day tickets. I told her she just didn't know where to look. I guess she was right.

We just bought the buy 2 days get 3 free tickets from the Universal site last week! Seems we just made it in time! We thought the same thing. I was set to buy 2 days get 1 free from Ticketmania, and then I saw those tix at the USO site. I told DH and he was all for it....but, I did remind him, that even tho we were saving $300 (3 free days), we'd still have to eat and sleep..which, was all extra $$$. Didn't matter, he was still all for it! REALLY glad I got those tickets when I did! I was shocked (and I mean my jaw fell open) when I saw that offer was not available at the site today!

I was going to get the 5 day ticket, then see Disney for a day or two.
Now it's two days at Universal, and four at Disney.

Edit: Nevermind, figured something else out, that's easier.
I can just buy them the 2-park power pass for 99.95 and that gives them 5 days plus another year to come back.

As someone else mentioned, just get a coupon from fantasy 5 and get the power pass and you can go for a full year, except summer weekdays...for the same price...

Well that 99.95 for power pass expires Sept 4 i think, and I'm going Oct 1st, so that wont work either .. argh

Well it activates in Sept, which i have zero problems with. But I'm not sure if they're going for sure - since one of them are having problems with getting their time off otherwise I would def. have them buy the tickets.

Does it activate when you buy it or the first time you use it? I don't think I can get it for 99.00 because I don't have a Fantasy 5 code (or whatever you need).

The activation date starts the day you enter the park. You will go inside and get your picture taken for your AP.

People have said that special automatically activates on Sept 4th.

APs cannot activate until you enter the park and get your picture taken and receive your AP card. People were told the same thing about the Burger King 2 years for the price of one year special. I personally know of people that held on to the voucher for a full year after the BK special expired. Then just last week, they finally activated their APs. They got the full 2 years that started on the day of activation which was last week.

I was just asking about those 5 day tickets and someone mentioned how they've been around for like 10 yrs so they couldn't imagine them being gone. Oh well
