What ever happened to our worst........?

I am just grateful I'm not in Russia. According to news reports this morning, 7 people have frozen to death there :guilty:

There is still plenty of time for cold weather - it's often colder in February and March than December and January!

My DS will be 15 on 7th February and was born during blizzards (unusual as we live in Surrey). I had no visitors at the hospital for 3 days because it wasn't safe to drive.
To make matters worse I was extremely supersticious and hadn't bought anything for him (I'd borrowed baby grows and a moses basket). When DH went to buy a snow suit and other winter clothes for DS he couldn't get any as the shops had changed their stock to T-shirts and shorts!!

I agree Joh they have had temperatures of -35 :scared1: They are saying that the wind is pushing towards our direction, but it shouldn't get to us. :confused3

Hold onto your horses folks, as you can see from the countdown we go to Florida on Feb 1st ; THAT is when it will snow. DH is desparate for snow and has never seen proper snow as he grew up in London, and every time it snows here in Hertfordshire since we moved here, we have been out of the country....Remember the big snow in on the M11 a couple of years back? We were in WDW. A few years back we actually went to Sweden to see some snow in December, and it didn't snow at all there, but guess what....snow here. We went to Switzerland in Feb 2000, and it snowed here and not there....
