My dad's side of the family is mainly irish and italian, and my mom's side is welsh and german.

I'm making a point of trying to figure out the towns my family came from so I can visit them (the towns) on my UK trip next year. My mom is pretty sure she can figure out where our family is from in wales, and my dad thinks my great uncle would know where we were from in ireland. It would be so cool to see those towns.

my heritage is a little more than 1/8th native alaskan, then a mix of european things. my biological father's last name was sherlock. my mother's maiden name was a relatively common irish(i think? i'll ask ryan later. lol) one. my grandmother on my biological father's side says i have some french. i dunno. she looks native american, and i kinda do too. my adoptive last name is from alsace. its complicated.
